How's work, Gat?
(Douglas, you're so lucky you don't have to get up early and go to work!....i wish I was independantly wealthy!!....sigh....)

percs wore off and left me "zoned"...and sleepy.
btw...this is how percs hit me....I take one...15 minutes later, I'm talking my fool head off and wanting to do laundry..make beds...work at work...cook......then after an hour, I'm zoned.

what's your perc story?

I bet I'm the ONLY Carolina Panther fan on this board!!! I just ran across this on our work computer.....this is what I left as the screen saver at work while I was at home calling Jesus and taking drugs! (no making fun of my pineapple hair)

My perc story is. Find a movie on pay per view that I want to watch. Order it and start watching it. Wake up when the screen says "THE END".
It is tough staying home with two dogs who follow me everywhere.

By the way Patti, do you ever listen to the John Boy and Billy show on the radio??? I've been meaning to ask you that for a month.

The only thing percs did for me was make me itch, big-time crazy monkey itch. I've been on Vicodin(hydrocodone) since before I left the hospital. It was either make the switch or get stitches in my back.

I listen to John Boy and Billy every morning...on my way to work.....sometimes I laugh so hard, I blow coffee through my NOSE!! (jk)

DAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG, Girl. I sho have missed you!
I listen to 'em too. Rayford is my fav, tho. He says what I think sometimes. Scary huh?

I can sit is traffic, look around and see by those laughing who is listening to those idiots.
I knew with you living in N.C. you had to listen them.
Rayford came through Tallahassee with the Kyle Petty motorcycle ride for the Victory Junction program. My motor officers escorted the bunch. Rayford had quite a gathering around him.

Doug, I can relate with the dogs. I have three and it's a real challenge to avoid tripping over them as they are like my shadows - moving quickly.

I don't even feel the effects of my hydrocodone anymore. Maybe they are placebos??

I've noticed a drop in the effects of the oxycodone. I've always taken one pill and the instructions call for 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours. Yesterday, with this big ache, I started with 1 1/2 pills. That worked.
My male boxer jumps up everytime I stand up. I think the nut would get in the hot tub with me if I would let him.

I don't even let the labs near the hot tub as they'd be in before I could blink. Now wouldn't that be fun? Part of my PT is leaping over dogs that stand up as I step over them. Yikes!

How is your other dog doing?

She has totally recovered. She plays with the younger male constantly. He is keeping her young

So glad to hear that, Doug. I've thought about her and you all a lot. Praise God for watching over our critters.

Thanks so much....Yes my dogs are family and treated as such. That's just the way I was raised. We actually had a family burial for one of our dogs.

Same here. i feel like I have three 2 year olds all the time. I would have come to the service and bawled like a baby.

When had to put down our cat of 13 years because of cancer, we had him creamated, and paid extra to have some of his fur saved first, and ashes sent back to us. He was all white. And he needed to come home. It was just right. He even came with a special box for his ashes. We just tucked the box away in a storage spot and hasn't been touched since. Nothing gross, just home. Now we have a dog. She just turned 1 and will be one of my challanges when I come home.
