The Curse of the Monkey

I think Doug really DID send the monkey to Kansas City. We've had storms all this afternoon and evening and my knee is leaping around with the monkey dragging it from tree to tree in search of fresh bananas. Owie, ouch, ouch. Ice doesn't help. Exercise only sorta helped. Elevating didn't do squat. And I already had my pill this evening....no more until bedtime. Maybe I'll just move bedtime up.

Man, felt so good this afternoon after the doc's visit. That will teach me! Did some errands afterwards based on his great report and I probably overdid it. Dang!!! Payback is the pits!!

Every little good thing is followed by TWO bad things these days.
I'm in the same boat! We're so anxious to get on with our normal lives that we take a foot when given an inch....

You got it right, Patti. I'm mad at myself for doin' it and mad at the weatherman for helping. Double whammy tonight. Night Stalker, here I come....or pill popper....one or the other.

Either having the swelling I still have helps with the ache, so I can't feel anything except the constant stiffness, or the 4 Percs I take a day really work. The last time it really hurt was after I had the Lymphatic Drainage on Friday, I figured it was because the fluid was on the move? Who knows?!
