The age and location disappeared on the users avatar. I changed to bonesmart 2.0 and it works.

I am on an I pad and when I checked in 2 days ago, the age and location etc on the avatar box was gone. I mentioned it in a post and some mentioned it happened to them too. Someone said you could see the missing info on bonesmart 2.0 version, so I switched to that and it works. Bonesmart 2.0 seems like an older version.

I also use an iPad, two days ago when I logged on BS opened in 'mobile version' which, as @janmont says, doesn't tell us peoples locations or other information. I changed it back to version 2 and all is well, but why it suddenly changed I don't know?

@Ellejay or @janmont - how do you change back to BoneSmart 2.0 on your iPad? Right here is a reason to miss location (I don't know what time zone you are in @janmont - I know Lyn is in the UK and should be sound asleep now! Age is interesting to me - and I'm not ageist, I rarely see someone on BoneSmart who walked on their original joints longer than I did Why did that information disappear with the revamped forum?

My Samsung Galaxy tablet (android) had changed the format a couple of days ago, and was missing age, location, etc from Avatar box. I changed to "desktop view" and it all came back!

@Fancypants - thanks, I had never noticed that tiny box at the bottom left of every page that gives you the option to change styles! I went searching in the Tecky Questions section, and finally figured it out. Greetings from Canada to the UK.

Thanks @Threads I didn't know that either!!!!!! Now I'm on Bonesmart 2 as well.....just goes to show - and I'm always saying this to my partner (who ignores me. Of course ) "When all else fails, read the directions".....

Can anyone explain why my iPad keeps switching between Bonesmart 2.0 and Bonesmart Mobile. I know I can get it back to Bonesmart 2.0 which I much prefer, but I just wonder why it happens. It's a tad annoying. Linda x

Hi @Coppernob - yes Jamie is correct. I am also encountering the issue with my iPad switching versions. I have communicated with Rich @nudaii who is looking into it. Frustrating I know, but Rich is a genius at sorting out these issues

i've changed the default skin for tablets to bs2 while mobiles remain the mobile theme, we will see how that goes.
