Questions now this is not a set back just a lil ouchy....
I have one staple that is digging in my leg....my pt can see it pulling and its puffy right there........my pt called the nurse who will come out tomorrow.........Can she do anything with that..........Take it out i dont know , because i didnt want to wait all day for her to come and say she cant do anything and then i cant get a drs appt............Then i have a bruise in the inside of the knee about 1/2 dollar size when i stand oh boy everything rushes there............hurts..........any suggestions about either .........Thanks but remember not a set back just an ouchy...if thats all i have to deal with thats fine with me.......Thanks is advance.............)
 
Kim, I think it's too early to take the staple out. I guess you just have to grin and bear it. The black and blue is normal too, it just means that you had some bleeding under the skin.
 
Thanks Terri PT just said maybe they could take that one out IDK.......when i bend you an see it taring a lil......(dont want infection and its puffy) Im sure its ok........he wants me to stop bending at that point but i cant im afraid it will lock up on me.....I know it prob wont but to much past.......Ill get thru it just looking for anything ..just a thought.. thanks

Kim I think you need to call the home nurse and have her look at the staple, She will know what to do. You have already had to grin and bear too much pain. They may need to take the staple out and just tape that spot.
Talk to the OS about it. You are so right about an infection and not wanting one again.

How is the head ache. I read on the net that the meds you were taking could cause a head ache and sick to stomach. Hope it is gone.
