Hi all thanks for the help and Jo that lil avatar to cute......lol..............better today just sore no he never showed ????? so i am going on Thursday i think to start up out pt just to look around....but Derek has to keep going back to this job she said he has it keeps calling him in bur not telling him when to start gotta say lil weird keeps taking him to lunch.......??? anyway im still doing my excercises at home but its hard and seems not its not bending past 90 now but im still going hard...............thanks for responding i can always count on your all........still lil depressed but i guess it could be worse right !!!!!!

Your right I am....just real stiff im still plugging away.....I see the Dr Jan 3 i think??? I still say well and he does after so many surgeries it just needs to plain heal....and it will but im still able to do things so im happy im not stuck in bed i do what i can maybe lil more........but i will enjoy the holidays.......along with pain pills which I dont take faithfully at this stage he also gave me naproxen....to me the motrin and nazproxen work better........I do find even tho its swollen that heat well warm works good if just feels better i do ice and put it up but i do have to say im bad about that........i need to take a pic it looks like a had a double chin thing in my knee will that go away......ill post it in the morning.........just to see what you all think maybe its just because its swollen........have a good one

hers the pic just wondered what you thought will that over lapped skin lump thing go away...its more noticeable in person...........still swollen as well.......is that becuz of the 2 surg so close together.......or just normal.....thank you........

I don't think it looks all that bad. Course, I know how it feels. Your left leg is fine? What got all this started with that knee, I can't remember. Was it an accident or wear and tear? I probably knew at one time, ....the old memory sucks! I still have a little fold at the top of my scar, but nothing like it used to be a couple months after surgery.

By the sounds of what Pat said it sounds like it's normal! Just take care of it. Are you still having a lot of pain? Hope you feel better real soon!!!!!!

I think RTKR looks weird maybe just me............We think it was a car accident i had a lacerated liver so maybe it happened then and i was in ICU so they prob were not to to concerned at the time...I dont blame them that's all we can think of...........

Kim, your right knee wasn't like that before surgery, correct? It looks to me to be some swelling that is making the skin kind of poofy. If that's the case, it will go away in time.

You've had so much going on with your knees I wouldn't be surprised if it takes you a little longer to reach that "normal" stage with them. Try not to be alarmed when things move so slowly. The most important thing right now is that you're not in pain and that you get adequate ROM back in both knees. I know you're working hard at it and that should be your focus, hon....just smile at that knee and give her a cute name like "Dimples." It won't be forever.

It happens - my knee is a bit like that too. What happens is that when they stitch it up, they pull it together a bit unevenly, just like making a bad, runkled seam in a dress! It may flatten out when the stitches get absorbed or it may not. Mine didn't yet but it is getting a little less noticeable as time goes by. Don't let it fret you - it shows up more now because of the swelling. There's nothing amiss so don't be anxious about it.

Hum sexy your to cute.......lol......Knobbie knees....lol.....Well knee is holding up as good as it can. I still cant get the bend I need but still trying....... Still plugging away thought........I hope I can get there........I hope everyone has a great Christmas....I see my Dr on Jan 4th i think see what he says then.....Pain seems to be better just need that bend..........

I think my knee looked like that early one. Have pics on my phone. Think it will take some more time and you are doing so well.

Funny about the leg around the neck. I could get my worst leg to my neck in hospital. It would just spring up when getting into the CPM. But I still can't get a ROM over 100 something. I guess somehow I'm flexible although feeble.

lol doesnt it seem like it sometimes that thats what they are trying to do.......lol........its that weird when i left the hosp i was at 110 was the last one the down hill..lol.......then it goes up i had 116 the other day just feels stiff like i really have to push it get that but i should be happy i can......i just hope he is happy with it . he didnt seem like it last time............I need to go post on your thread.......lol.........thanks for responding.......)
