Terri, aka, Abunnybabe, Aka Mein Dumplink Recovers

Terri's recovery is moving along.

The weekend in the sub-acute is not what it should be. I don't know if it is like this everywhere but this is how it works where Terri is rehabilitating.

The fill in weekend crew sucks.. Enough said.

We are really looking forward to the regular crew returning tomorrow. Progress is being made.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the norm with weekend staff! I don't know why they can't do pT and OT on weekends! But Terri's making great progress so that's the most important thing!! Rest up! Tomorrow's a new day!!! (0)

And that this week finds our Miz Bunny Dumplin wearing out her PT Techs!! LOL Tell her we are on pins and needles here just waiting to hear bit and pieces of her recovery!!!

Unfortunately, I think it is a universal problem with weekend staff. It's a shame....it shouldn't be that way. But this is one of the reasons why it's so important for a patient to have an advocate...like YOU to help get the job done!!! We do need our Bunny Dumplink back!

Funny about the weekend staff, my pt was cut in half on the weekend. Now it is a new week , new day. Tell Terri i can't wait until we hear from her although you are very entertaining as well.
Is her pain managed ok? That is #1 in my book

I wish I could send my friend to Terri...she works in a nursing home doing PT just on the weekends and the people there love her more than the regulars PT's through the week! Give Terri our best and tell her we can't wait to hear her stories!!!

Thanks guys. I am having a bit of a rough time recovering. I also didn't have such a good time in the hospital, but after seeing 3 pain management peeps, thay were able to get a good grip on my pain. The day I left the hospital, I did stairs, and was able to walk around the nurses station, about 200 feet, with a walker.
Once I got here in rehab, that messed with my pain meds again, said one was non-formulary, and they wouldn't have the other med for 24 hours? what? Like my hubbby said, there is a CVS and a Wslgreens right acrossed the street! I was ready to leave by Thursday morning, I got there Wed afternoon)
More later, dinner is here!

Hey, Bunny.....guess you'll have plenty of stories to tell around the campfire later. Sorry you had to endure the bad times, but it will make the good times coming so much sweeter! You are doing great...a walking fool, aren't you!! Hooray! Keep up the good work and they will spring you soon.

We have enjoyed updates from your hubby...what a great sense of humor he has!....but we missed the real you. Glad you're back!!!

Terri is being released this Friday!! Can't wait to get her home. She will be much more comfortable here providing the proper prescriptions come home with her.

Tommorrow she gets to try a new mix of meds.. hoping they work out so she is comfortable coming home. (she was brave today and got up to 92 degrees on the CPM. Bunnybabe stop reading Shhh Don't tell her this but I will try and get her close to or at 100 before she gets out Friday.)

This coming Monday should be staples out. :shk: We have heard that the comfort level impoves with the staples gone. Any comments on that?

Yep! She WILL be feeling better..MINUS the staples AND the RE-HAB place!!! (0). Hope Terri's pain meds are in order by the time she's ready to get home!!! (0)
