Glad you are looking into a TENs machine to help with pain.
Here is some information. TENS machines for pain management
TENs placement for your hip would be similar to knees in relationship to the scar.
You can also ask your PT about TENs use and electrode placement.
Thank you @Pumpkin . I've been using it on my left knee and lower back for about a week, with some success. I'm getting a TRH so I need that left knee! The diagram was helpful. How soon after surgery can I use it?
I'm so anxious about healing time and the pain. Surgeon said that I will take longer to heal than most. I have very little muscle strength due to not being able to walk or exercise for a couple of years. I'm hopeful the machine will help. Can you over do use with it? Thanks.
Mary
Wishing you all the best with surgery today and well managed pain as you begin healing. Will look forward to following your recovery on the bright side.
Hope to see you there soon! @MB1956
