Plan to redo my excersise room this weekend. I had the teeter prior to my replacement. Wondering if it's safe to use. I am 2.5 years post op.

Here it is

Definitely something I would clear with your Surgeon.
I'd say...Most of the time, the answer is simply: no.
Inversion therapy comes with its risks, but chief among them is using your arms and torso weight to pull down on your hip flexors (which are essential to stabilize hips) while hanging upside-down.

That’s a lot of tension. Granted, your upper body is already putting gravitational pressure on your hip when you walk around, but our bodies are somewhat designed to handle that effectively.

When that weight is free-hanging with no support to lean on (like the floor/ground), it feels much more intense and pulls on your muscles/bones.

I had one and loved it! I regularly lift up to 75 lb boxes at my job and it can cause tightness and aches in my lower back so the inversion table was very helpful.
I am 6 years out, and afraid to try it....not worth the risk to me.

What could go wrong? Of course I'm kidding I wouldn't get on one and if I were you I'd ask my OS. Even if they say OK are you willing to accept what could go wrong? If so then go for it, I'll pass.
