I mentioned to the physiotherapist today that my TEDs were tight and could I take them off yet. She gave me larger size to try so no sun tan for my legs this week:-(

Scott! They'll probably come out with some kind of apparatus,no doubt!! :)

My toe would always get stuck in that lil hole at the bottom, or was it supposed to go all the way around your foot!!!

Oh, Kim!!! Haha! Good thing it's too late for you to wear 'em now!! :)

They are annoying and my toes keep poking out - I have to use my crutch to reposition them. Only 5 days left of wearing them:)

Currently on my 4th regimen of the TEDs, and yes...they still suck...sliding down, bunching up, toes caught up in foot holes. It's too hot to waer long pants here now so I wish they came in other colors, but they still look funny. The good news is my Ortho team say 24/7 for 2 weeks post-op and then daytime only for 2 weeks, so I have 4 more days @ 24/7. In the past once I've gone daytime only I've gotten forgetful and usually don't make the entire last 2 weeks. My home care nurse tried to call me out but when I resisted she said well you are so active anyway you will be fine, they are mostly for people who don;t go charging around like you do.

I should also mention that the TEDs are worn in combination with a warfarin regimen that also lasts 4 weeks.

I had to wear mine 24/7 for 8 weeks. I had the shots for 18 days also, glad its over. Yours is almost done. It will go fast.....Hang in there.............

No TEDS for me either. When I was is bed in the hospital I wore foot pumps on my feet. Every 30 seconds one of my feet would be squeezed, then released. Constant foot massage.... very nice!

Of course my leg is starting to swell whenever I sit for any length of time, so I have to lie down frequently, then I get stiff and sore from not moving. I'm trying to figure out the right balance between rest and activity. I also have to give myself Lovenox injections for 26 more days.
