yes....but it can change in the blink of an eye......I hate we're playing in Cameron....would feel much better if we were in our Dean Dome!!

Go Heels!

uh-oh... forgive me Patti

I've always been a bit of a Duke fan....

NCAA(college) basketball game--- Patti's North Carolina Tar Heels vs Duke Blue Devils. I fear I have committed the ultimate sin by admitting to being a Blue Devil fan.....

game is on now. UNC ahead by 3

My brother graduated from UNC---people in my family worship Dean Smith and Roy Williams---and think that Coach K is the Anti-Christ!

Tim C.

awwwww... what do I know? I'm from the left coast where our teams are the Ducks and the Beavers.... hardly in the same stratosphere as Smith and Williams....

But Kyle Singler is an Oregon kid playing for Duke so gotta pull for him.

Actually I really get into "March Madness". Haven't stayed too up-to-date on teams this year but will throw together some picks for my bracket anyway.

Ah, sport, I am not into any sports really, only Rugby when my hubby and 2 boys played years ago. Anyway, perhaps they will draw. Winning isn't the important thing, it is the taking part!!

Congrats Patti! Exciting finish and the Heels played like the champions they are!

Thanks BC! Duke always scares me to death!
Lots of my family went to UNC...my son played football there....

Go Heels!!

Okay...back to our knees....

Actually, the distraction was good. My knee and back are very painful tonight. Right now it is hard to remember those wonderful moments earlier in the week when I felt so good. This is just that old "isn't it EVER going to go away" pain....Haven't done the "tears" thing for a while, but they're getting me tonight.

Just too much "week" I guess.

Have a good Sunday Patti!

BC....wish you were still online. I've had a bad knee day, too. I tried to shop....that didn't work....had to grocery shop....still paying for that.
My hubbie is having acilles problems...we were just discussing how we want to walk PAIN FREE. I know I'm on my way, but I'm SO not there yet. I brought my groceries at walmart tonight.....that concrete floor hurts so badly.

I hope you have a much better day, tomorrow, shug!

It had to have been the weather..All of us seemed to struggle yesterday. I ended up taking a double dose of pills just to get the sucker to quit hurting. I'm going to take it easy today. Maybe get in the hot tub and do a little stretching but no bike.
Patti, take care of your husbands achilles. I had a partial tear in mine several years ago and they take a long time to heal.

Funny, isn't it that so many of us hit a "bump" on the same day? You are probably right about the weather in your part of the country, but it is drop-dead gorgeous spring weather here in Oregon. Warm and sunny. In my case it is just trying to adjust to going back to work. My job is very physically difficult. Almost constantly on my feet on concrete floors. Lots of bending and stooping/reaching down which is rough on my back.

All part of the healing and rehab, I guess. Keeps me from getting too "uppity" and brings me back down to earth. But it is nice to know I am not alone. Thanks for the empathy and support!

Here's to a better day for all of us!

I'm praying for you all. Sorry to hear about so many having a bad day. I rested up after a long hard week. I'm now excited to go to work tomorrow as I get so much more walking in and I'm wanting to get more exercise. As soon as my daughter gets her shower, we're on our way to Target to shop for desk fountains for my work space. I'm redoing it to be calm and stressfree. A zen garden, new purple pots for all my plants, less clutter, desk fountain, background music. I can't wait! we move to a new building on Friday and my new area will be so wonderful I will want to go into the office! So, find a way to make your space healing and joyful. Find a way to relax and remember how far you have come. How wonderful the pain free days are and how the painful days are less and less frequent. Remember the joy of Spring and that it is just around the corner. God bless you all and may your week be one of progress and rejoicing.

Skeet

YOU are a breath of fresh air and springtime to us all!

Thank you Skeet!

Skeet, I love the office idea, I have been wanting to redo mine for sometime, just never seem to have the time or take it. This summer I think I will do it.
I love your ideas.
