Taken Legal Steps?

Just wondering if any of you have taken any legal steps against your OS for extreme Leg Length Discrepancy? (over 3/4") Although I am wearing shoe build-ups, now both my knees and back are hurting terribly. He does admit that "perhaps" he should have taken off more bone.

Where in the US are you located? Have you gone to other orthopedic surgeons for a consult? If you are new Birmingham AL, visit with Dr. Kenneth Moore. He did my surgery and mentioned to me that he does a lot of revisions.

It may sound daunting, but if you can have it repaired you may be happier in the long run.

I live in central Kansas. I did go to Wichita to a specialist that does revisions, but he said that my stem was the kind that the bone grows into so a revision is probably completely out of the question. The surgeon made his "mistake" permanent. I am having lots of complications due to the LLD in my other joints, eventhough I wear built-up shoes. I can't see why I should endure all of this for HIS mistake....and will have it probably for the rest of my life.
