I had my third injection today of Euflexxa.
I have noticed that over the last 3 weeks, I have good days and bad days. So I'm anxious to see what happens now.

Well, here's hoping for you!

I had those and my experience was I had more good than bad that just kept getting better after the last one so I hope you have the same!!!

Hi, Beth!!! Hopefully the injections will buy you a lot of time before a TKR would be required. I'll say a prayer for you!

And here are more good wishes that you have good days!

Those injections helped me for a few years, and I hope you get good results too.

Weezy

Good luck with your injections Beth. Hope they keep you pain free for a long time.

I called my surgeons office yesterday to make an appointment to have another cortisone injection in my bad knee. Going to see him on Tuesday. My left knee is still taking the strain of getting up from low chairs and getting out of cars etc as my RTKR still has a lot of stiffness and swelling so doesn't bend as well as it should. I had my last injection in May last year, usually they work a year to 18 months in that knee. Want it done before my vacation in UK as I plan to hike in The Lake District on the fells.

I really don't want to go any longer than 1 year before I have the surgery. As I said awhile back, where I work has a tendency to kind of "nudge" you into retirement and I need to have the surgery (obviously) before I lost my insurance. After I retire, my employer offers no insurance except the "COBRA" insurance which is about $350 a month out of pocket!!!

I've had Synvisc shots for 3 years now in my right knee. I get them every Dec. and it really does work

Don't let a Dr. tell you they don't work. Try it first.

Good Luck,
Lori
