Well I had my left hip replaced last Thursday morning. I got back to my room about 3:00 pm and I walked about 100 ft at 4:00. Friday I walked about 250 ft so they let me come home Saturday. Everything has gone really well, pain level has been low. I still take lortab before rehab and before bed just in case. My left knee has hurt more than anything. My therapist thinks it may be from stress when they hammered the shaft into place. I hope to go to a cane next week, but we will see. Thanks for the encouragement you gave before surgery.

Well done Mark! Sounds like you are really doing very well - do as everyone says and make sure you take plenty of rest as well as those adrenilin raising walks. It just gets better from here on.

That's great to hear Mark

Now you can look forward to progressing every day and getting your life back :thmb::thmb:

Just be careful not to overdo it in the early days and all should go well for you

Regards
Andy
