It's hard to believe the waiting time went by so quickly and I will be going to the hospital at 5:30 tomorrow morning.
I just left work for the last time for a while after being surprised with a fantastic "Good Luck" luncheon from my Senior Staff team. It was so nice after being busy all morning trying to wrap up everything.
Now that I'm home and not busy, the nerves are kicking in about the surgery. I guess you have all gone through this... I'm trying to keep positive thoughts about how I will be able to do all the fun things with my grandchildren next summer that I can't do now.
Please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow.

Cass, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Find something to keep yourself busy this afternoon and early evening. Then take some Tylenol PM and try to get some sleep. The good news is once you get up tomorrow, things will just click along and next thing you know the surgery will be history! Keep focusing on your new life ahead!!!

Hi, just keep going through the motions, and tomorrow will get here. I was nervous and considering backing out even after the lovely hospital gown was on!
It is great that your co-workers gave you a nice luncheon. Every bit of support is valued during this journey, as it is no small thing.

Let me encourage you a bit, today is my 2 week mark, and I am so happy I did it and all I can say is, " why did I wait so long?" My children and grandchildren can expect a brand new me, and I am hoping yours can too.

Best of luck to you tomorrow, you will be in my prayers, Kimberly

Best of luck to you!!! I'll be thinking about you!

But everyday will get better . you will be so happy with your improvement by next summer for those precious grandchildren... God Bless... your in my prayers deb

Hey Cass you will be so happy you will be able to play with them and have no complaints ........i will keep you in my prayers please post when you can...........i think you will be very happy you did this......i wish you the best of luck ........)

Cass,
Tomorrow will be my 1 week anniversary! I know how you are feeling, once they start things going tomorrow you won't have too much time to be nervous. More than one of us has thought of getting up and leaving (I guess we really want that fashion breaking new gown they give you, that's just an easy way to get one :hehe: ).
You'll be in a lot of prayers tomorrow, mine included. While waiting in the pre-op area last Tuesday just knowing how many people were praying for me gave me a feeling of peace.
Are you going to hurt afterward? Yep, but it will be worth it. I am already beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Here's praying for an easy recovery.

Cass! Just think! Tomorrow at thois time....you will be DONE....and on the "other side!!"". Best of luck to you! Think POSITIVE! Look forward to hearing from you when you can post!! (:)0)

New update - hospital called to say come at 5:00 am so we'll be on the road by 4:30.

Thanks for all of your positive notes and the thoughts and prayers you are sending my way. I can feel them already and know they will help get me through tomorrow. My hubby is not too good on the computer so I will post as soon as I can from the other side.

Good luck to you Cass! Will be in thoughts and prayers.

Hi Cass,

Just wanted to let you know you'll be in my prayers for a successful surgery without any complications. Good thing your first up....doesn't give you much time to sit and worry and don't have to starve while waiting! Bonus is you'll be tired from the early morning and more relaxed. Hope you have a restful night sleep.

See you on the other side.

Blessings,

Cass,
My prayers are with you today. And during recovery. Hope to hear from you as soon as you are able to post and fill us in on everything!!! Ahhh the hospital stories are always the greatest!!!
