The symptoms you are mentioning can be associated with CRPS, but at 11 months it's probably a bit soon to put that label on what you're experiencing. That said, I do think the recommendations for you are good. Gabapentin can work wonders in settling things down in your knee. That tight band feeling can persist for over a year to some degree and walking should help with it. Acupuncture and massage also can help.
