And the bunny hunt isn't for a few weeks. I'm just getting geared up for that now. My doc thinks I'll be in great shape by mid-May. I'm going to the range to practice this weekend. I'm ready for some of the rascally rabbits!

I got that pedometer. If you're doing 10000 steps a day, you are ready to go hunting. You'll probably be ready to run them down by then.
I need to google jack rabbits. They are bigger aren't they. We have little tiny rabbits in this area. For that matter, a Florida deer is much smaller than the deer everywhere else. I know we have more squirrels than we need...I consider them tree rats.

Thats those two legged bunnies that will hurt you bad....
They need to have a TKR scar to prove their toughness now.

Jack rabbits are ruining the crops in eastern oregon and the farmers really want the population limited. The coyote population was up last year so there were not many jacks out there. Then we change to coyote hunting. Jacks are much larger and more disease infested than cute little bunnies.

Can you eat'em? Not a diseased one of course.
Around here, if it walks, crawls, swims or flys, people will eat it.

Nah, we wouldn't eat these. They are all diseased or something. Too much risk. Guess I'm not a full blooded redneck since we only shoot varmits, we don't eat 'em.
