Hi all,
just to update you all, on April 1st I had another knee Arthoscopy and the O S has found that the medial plica removed in 2007 had reformed and was rubbing on the joint also a piece of bone was removed to allow greater movement of the joint, something I have not had since the PKR in Feb 08, surgery was long I was under for one and a half hours,a long time for keyhole surgery, everything in the joint was looked at. I have everything crossed at the moment for a good outcome because as I have said before this has now been going on for nearly 5 years since first seeing GP. Still have stitches in at present and still have some pain also still using crutches.

Here's hoping and praying.

All the very best to all of you recovering and those waiting to go in.

Best Regards

Trevj

Hope it works for you, Trev. That was unfortunate, having that tissue redevelop - real bummer! And don't worry about the length of the surgery. 1-2 hours is about average for arthroscopy that is not simply diagnostic, meaning where there is work to be done! So sounds about right to me.

Trevj, I'll be praying this does the trick for you. Let us know how you get along.
