I go back today and will report with new photos after this appointment. I’m sure hoping to be able to start working on ROM again. I want enjoy some of this beautiful weather before Seattle curses us with rain again.
All looked good this visit. Another appointment in 2 weeks but it sure looks like it’s closing up. Again, thank you all for the prayers and guidance! I need to contact the surgeon to see about starting some kind of rehab program. I know I’ve lost a lot of ROM.
This photo has amazing improvements. It looks like you're finally back on the road to recovery. Don't worry about your ROM. This was just a little bump in the road and it will all come once you are healed again. You can still do some gentle bends and stretches throughout the day and I'm assuming you're also doing some walking around the house every few hours. That will keep things loosened up while you're in the last stages of getting that wound closed again. You've done a great job, Steve. This was quite a challenge and this good result is the reward for your effort.
Saw the surgeon today and he said it looks great. One more visit to the wound specialist this week and I believe I’ll be back on a straight line to recovery! I’m going to start with just walking and bends to see how much ROM I can get back. No pushing it. I’ve got the rest of my life. Thanks to all of you that helped and was going threw this with me.
