John,
It sure has been a long road for you.....
Glad the surgery is coming up and you will finally start getting better and healing. Hopefully the time will pass quickly for you. How soon will you be back at work after the surgery? I know your insurance is a nightmare, but hope things all smooth out and you recover fully.
Best,
Crystal

I lost my job at the university, but the good news is my disability will pay me till Im 65. I also have to have my left knee replaced after all this and I can't go back to heating and cooling for a living, so I guess you could say Im retired..

John, my heart and prayers are with you. Retired maybe, but right now your main job is to heal. Take care of yourself and don't forget to check in here now and then or a lot if you need the support. We're all here for you. ((((HUGS)))))

Sorry to hear about this. It's probably the thing we all feared the most. Its a long
road but hopefully it will end up better.

John,
All of my thoughts and prayers go out to you . I hope you are at least feeling ok through all of this. Keep us in the loop about how you are doing
Judy

John,

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry you are going through all that. Glad to hear you have your disability coverage.

Keep us posted and best wishes.

I will add my thoughts and prayers as well. I, too, had to leave work for disability reasons. It is a difficult adjustment, because you aren't going out on your own terms. You should also check into social security disability. I would never have thought to do that if someone else hadn't recommended it. I was approved on the initial application--lucky for a change.

John, I'm so sorry to hear about your problems. I can't imagine how difficult this must be. My thoughts and prayers will also be with you. Keep us posted.

John,
I have no doubt but that you are going to win this. You have been very strong and courageous during this very scary problem. Know that you have best wishes and prayers coming your way from all over the world-- including Oregon. Be well and keep your chin up.

This is the best place to lift one's spirit, you all have been there in one way or another. When I read my posts I sure do feel better, thanks again...john

John, So sorry to hear you have lost your job at the University. Sounds like you have your hands full though just recovering from all you have been through and are going to have to endure in the future months. Thank God for disability insurance. Ten years ago I went to have a steroid injection in my spine and never got to go back to work. The shot actually increased my pain to the point that I was unable to get out of bed much until I went through the pain clinic and got regulated on pain meds. It was a hard adjustment but in all honesty there was no way I could have done a decent job for anyone as much pain as I was in. Then my knees went bad and I had the BTKR. So all in all I am just grateful that I live in an age where there is surgery for such things and there are computers so I was able to post here. I have said it many, many times, Jo and this site have been a lifeline to me and many more of us. I only hope she fully realizes the good job she does and how she is appreciated as are the people who post here. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted on your progress. Rowdy
