TKR Stabbing pain

Surgery was February 3, 2020 the past week my knee is more swollen than usual hard to bend my knee and I'm having some pain behind my knee into my thighs anyone else have similar problem?
I have been going up and down a lot of stairs not sure if that would cause it? My surgeon seems to think it could be coming from my back, I don't really think so!

Im in week 9 tkr and suffering exactly the same thing. Behind the kned pain with pain in my hamstring, and also shin pain. Ive cut my walking down to around 8k steps (2 walks a day). Icing and resting and pain meds. Havent seen much of an improvement as yet but fingers crossed. Hang in there.

Just want to say how fantastic this forum is. I am 6 weeks post op L TKR and the sensible advice posted here really does comfort me. I have severe stabbing pain at night which I thought was unusual but now realise that other people get it .
Just disappointed about my speed of recovery and continued pain
