Thanks for the good wishes folks. I am just waiting for confirmation in the next 2 hours that they have a bed available. Surgery is scheduled for 1:00 PM. Gosh I would like to have a coffee!!! See you soon.

It's 10.20am here in Ontario, so he will be on his way to the hospital I should think. I think the worst part of having surgery is not being able to have a cup of tea or coffee!!

You know there was this study in the US that most of the people who complained about having headaches after coming out of surgery and blamed it on the anestesia were really having headaches from caffiene withdrawl.
