sore knees
new member
I'm an active 73 year old, 180 lb. woman. I still teach small children as a sub teacher and like walking 18 holes of golf. I've had to give both of these activities up during the last year because of sore knees. I was advised several years ago that I needed knee replacement surgery.
I've been putting off having knee surgery (both) for a number of years. I've gone through the series of shots, which helped me delay surgery, but now I must move on. The reason for my delay was to wait as long as I could for all of the improvements that were coming along in knee replacement. I know there will be more in the future but I can't wait any longer. I would like to have both knees done at the same time.
I would like to hear from any of you that can offer advise as to what I should consider in the surgery area so that I can get back to my active life. I live in Arkansas and Hot Spring and Little Rock are my first choice for surgery locations.
