Hi,

I'm looking for a comfortable walking sneaker/sandal. Any suggestions on good brands after a hip replacement?

Hop -I just saw your post that on facebook that you purchases rockport shoes -are those comfy?

Rockports are my favorite, very well-made and very comfortable. I actually bought 6 pairs of shoes today for only $115. on Amazon. They have the $25. off $100. sale on women's sandals, and for some strange reason, they offer $80. shoes for like $23. in certain sizes. You have to click on the "size, price availability" link, and see the price for your size, and always select Amazon as the seller so you get the free shipping too.

I bought a pair of LLbean's last summer that I LOVE. I where 'em showing the dogs. They are comfy and rugged but not pretty sandals.

My Merrells came in! I love them. Here is a pic of them (Yes, I'm holding my good leg up to the webcam!) Don't mind my messy bed, I haven't made it yet :)

I noticed it right away! Looks like that headache is a thing of the past!

Melissa, Like your shoes. How do they fit size wise? I bought hiking Merrells a couple months after my surgery and love them too. Just a bit shorter than I would like but I can still walk comfortably.
(Took the day off today and am being totally lazy, except for gym. May have to order some shoes!!!)

I'm always a true size 7 and ordered a size 7. They are actually are a tad big on me (without socks) and fit fine with socks -but I will be wearing these with no socks. They are amazingly comfortable. They have that "ortho-fit" feature.

Melissa, Coincidentally I am a size 7 too. Will consider those shoes as an alternative to my sneaks for summer. They look like they would be practical but cool in hot weather.

I have been in and out side all day. May just have to talk hubby into a walk when he gets home--so gorgeous outside and looks like rain next two days.

Looking forward to the NJ/NY (Judles I hope ?) dinner soon.

Laurie,,,,,mid May I hope works for everyone!!! Going to Florida, hubby just informed us for 2 weeks,,,,In 2 weeks! Boy am I looking forward to meeting all my Bonesmartie pals!! :). How is your day off? I'm actually sitting inthe backyard! Boy am I looking forward to planting season!!! :)

I bought my first pair of Merrils after the surgery, wanted some slip ons, LOVE em.
