This will be my final post for now, chickadees. Mother hen is leaving for the night to make final preparation for tomorrow so you all be good folk and don't give Jamie any trouble!

And now, being the ardent Star Trek fan that I am, there's only one way to finish ....

Jamie .... "You have the bridge, No 1"!

May the Force be with you, Jo!!! See you on the other side!

That's Star Wars, Jamie - but I'll forgive you!

Jo, See you on the other side. My prayers for a smooth ride. As they said before I went under, think of a beautiful place--and know that the Dr's will take good care of you.

Laurie

Jo good luck...thinking of you and know you will come through it all....after all we all did with your help...hugs Carol

Jo as you are going under the anaesthetic you can say "Beam me up Scotty".

GOSH!!!! I feel like I'M in labor waiting to
Hear about Jo,,,,(already!!!)

i know, i keep checking this site every 15 minutes or so! I have my first post op drs visit this afternoon and am thinking I may need to bring my laptop!

I can tell you all that I talked to Josephine last night about 3 a.m. her time. She was wide awake and doing fantastic! Jo was in that typical "pre-surgery" mode of "excited anxiousness." She was looking forward to today and on to her own new life after surgery. I told her not to worry about the forum and posting until she really felt like it. So we'll see how long she can stay away, rest, and work on her recovery. Bless her, she is a treasure!!! And she sent her love to all her chicks....

I promise to pass on any updates I have. And in the meantime, thanks to everyone for helping me hold down the fort for our Mother Hen.

I have been waking up coughing all night, Everytime I would look at the clock and wonder how Jo was doing.

If she was the first on the list she will be through by now. If at the end not even in the O.R. It is 4.40pm there now. My stomach is all tight, like when any of my family has surgery. Goes to show we are all family really!!

Sue, I did the same thing....looked at the clock all night and thought about Jo. This morning woke up just as she would have been going to the hospital. I'm thinking about her still!!!

Me too. It's nerve racking eh? Hope she will be able to post ASAP, or I will have to get another bottle of hair dye out!!

Hi, TBES!!! I don't believe I've had a chance to welcome you to the forum before this. Glad you joined our chat and maybe we'll hear from you again.
