Well I did it again. I fell on my newest knee last week. I was at work in my coworkers office. I turned to leave, my ankle gave out and splat I went to the floor on my 6 month old knee. The soft tissue is all brusied (about the size of a small plate) and I have a nice scab on the scar but the knee joint itself is fine. Some of you may recall that I fell on the streets of our nation's capital last spring when my first knee was 6 months old. At least I've gotten them both baptized now so I shouldn't have to worry about this happening again! Karen

Hey Karen,

Well, I guess you know they are both sturdy, huh? I am so glad it wasn't worse.

It's good to hear from you again. I was just thinking of you a couple of days ago and here you are!

Take it easy now--- no more falls.

Welcome to my world, Karen! I just slipped in our entry way this evening and went down....we had snow and the bottoms of my shoes were wet on the ceramic tile. Oops! I hope you don't hurt too much! For me, these soft tissue swellings are definiitely NOT SWELL! Here's wishing you a fast recovery and please, please be careful!!! We want you safe and whole!!! (((HUGS)))) ....Jamie

Glad you're okay anyway. As they used to say on a famous cop show "You be careful out there"!

I want to make a point that I did not fall because of the new knees. It was actually because of the very weak ankle I have. The knees are very sturdy and strong. I remember hearing somewhere that you have a better chance of hurting a real knee verses the knees we've all got. Karen
