Hi, all. I had a bilateral anterior hip replacement 22 months ago in NYC. The surgery was incredible. I walked out the next day with forearm crutches and threw them in the trash a couple days later. Today, I feel reborn, with no restrictions or limitations whatsoever.
Well, except one: the two large scars on the front of my thighs. I'm still a reasonably young man with a very active lifestyle, and I don't like the impact these have on my appearance. I want them gone.
Has anyone had any experience with scar revision surgery or fractional lasers, or any other approach?
Please understand I'm not looking for a peptalk on how it's okay to have scars. I am committed to doing something about them and would appreciate any experience or advice anyone might have here.
Thank you.
