I don't know what others are using for moisturizing your surgical scars, however, I have tried lots of different things and have found one I just love!
It is called broken link removed: https://www.dermatone.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=2&idproduct=3 and is an ointment that comes in a tin can that has sunscreen built into it. It is similar in texture to polysporin, bacitracin, and vaseline. As a skier, I use this on my face to protect it from the elements. It keeps my face soft and smooth too. I have been using it on my scar and it is working great. Just thought I would share.
Best,
Crystal
