My RTKR is scheduled for 3/ 20. I am starting to get a little nervous, I guess that is normal.
Had my preop testing on ties and met with the dr that will be treating me in the hospital. He wants me to lose 5lbs by the surgery date. No stress there.
I feel organized but yet I do not- have my recliner setup and the table next to it and my ice machine. Have plenty of pillows. Hired a dog walker. The only thing I haven't done is frozen a few meals. This weekend may be a good time for that.
Still I feel I am missing something, maybe I am just anxious.

Here's some pre-op reading that may help. Try not to worry too much over the next week, get out and have some fun.

Some of this information may help you to prepare:

If you are at the stage where you are planning to have surgery but are looking for information so you can be better prepared for what is to come, take a look at these links:

Regardless of where you are in the process, the website and app My Knee Guide can help you stay organized and informed. The free service keeps all the information pertaining to your surgery and recovery in one place on your smartphone. It is intended to be a personal support tool for the entire process.

Hi @debbyS. Mine Rt TKR is 18th March, I'm 63. I know the feeling about being ready/ not ready!
Is this your first - it is for me? I just had a gallbladder op at the end of 2016 after a very bad year of illness, coupled with my knee worsening. I am worried about having more surgery and recovery as I'm still fatigued after the last one, but everyone tells me there is no "good" time to have this done, life always throws up something or other and it is perhaps best over with. Here's to us both doing well and having a smooth recovery

It is normal to feel nervous!!!! You seem to have everything covered. Maybe some wide legged pajama pants or sweats that are capri length. I lived in them for a month!!! If you don't get around to freezing meals there is always grubhub!!! Food delivery with a click of computer stroke!!!

debbyS, my LTKR is also March 20th. It is nice to know there are others going through preparations, nervousness, etc., etc., etc. :) I will follow you and be thinking about you as we go on this journey together.
