YO! Gang,

Made it through my first PT. The right knee with the TKR on the 25th of Aug. has 0-105 ROM!! Yea! The left TKR that was done on the 28th of Aug. and then had re-surgery on the 4th of Sept. to remove the hematoma has 0-76 ROM. The right has little swelling but I have much more swelling in the left.

Go Rick! It sounds like you've got a good leg and a bad one, just like me! My first one was hell and my second one has been such a breeze, I thought I was dreaming after going through the first experience. Hopefully that swelling will go down so you can get that ROM on #2. Hang in there and keep working them! Karen

YO! Gang,

Just finished with my third PT and only increase my right ROM one (1) degree.
It is at 106, I have manage to increase the left to 86 degrees. Just a few more and I'll beable to go around on the bike. Tomorrow is my first OS visit since I busted out ot that Hospital the 4th of Sept. I should get the staples out of the right. They have been in since the 25th of Aug. and I think they are beginning to rust. You think WD40 would help????

Gang,

It's pretty bad when you don't remember the date you escaped the hospital, it was the 8th not the 4th of Sept. The 4th was my second surgery on my left knee. But who keeps track of time???

Hey Rick,
A big ole congrats on those ROM numbers! Just wait until you do a full rotation on the bike. When I did, my face could not hardly hold my grin!
You will feel so much better when those staples come out!
