Hi Meliss! Zoe is 6 lbs! I think that should be it! My son's malti is on the larger side! I don't think Emma is going to be that big, but you never really know ...(Paw size?) Its a beautiful day and I hope you have another great one at work! How long is your commute! Zoe and Toffee send their love to you and Emma! :)

Aw -6 lbs is a good size! Emma's paw's are extremely tiny -I'm sure she stay on the small side too. My commute is about 20 minutes with no traffic and 40 minutes with traffic (usually in traffic). I love the name Toffee for a dog -so cute. Off to bed -just fell asleep for a while watching Biggest Loser and doing stretches. Can't wait to jump in!

I'm going to try to back to work next week. I talked with the bosses And laid out some conditions-- if I hurt too much or get too tired I get to go go home! My doctor said it was up to me, at the same time I know he would like me to stay out a couple more weeks at least. My family needs me to go back to work! With the help I will get at work I think I will be able to do it. We shall see... Wish me luck...!!!

Tahoe-
Best of luck returning to work. Please be good to yourself and as Hurting said: listen to your body. I think it's like Jo's pain chart--If you stop and rest early on, you recover much more quickly. If you let yourself get over tired, it will take a whole lot longer to feel good again.
Blessings,
Irene

Sounds like you got a reasonable deal there, tahoe. Just make them abide by it!

I'm going back this coming week at 4 wks po. I work from home just sitting. Dr first said 12 weeks but now he said OK..so just keep asking if you feel up to doing your job I would think. Fresh out of surgery I would think ANY os would say No at first. I know..these are old posts and prob everyone already back to work lol

I work at home to had to go back a lil, hum money ! But do take care of yourself rest if you need to . Hard to stay in one spot for a long time....Kim

Work was interesting. Stayed for my normal nine and a half hour shift the first day. Needless to say... That was too much! Next day I only stayed a half day. That was better. Next day I was gone for several hours because my leg had to be drained of 3 1/2 oz. Of fluid (read blood). That's getting to be a habit I guess. I am totally exhausted this weekend. Trying to get some rest... Bad thing is that my boss quit the day after I came back... So there is no one to cover if I'm not there. The owners are still being awesome about everything. Hence, I haven't been on here as much!

Hi Tahoe. Can tell you have been busy. How long are they going to have to drain your knee. I sure hope it stops soon. Why does it keep building up? Sounds like you did the right thing backing off work.....Oh no sorry about the boss but you still need to take care of youself...Kim

Actually they are draining my hip. Right in the middle of the incsion is where it seems to center. They blame it on the Coumadin and PT, but to tell you the truth I don't think they know.

Tahoe, are they doing any testing on the fluid that is removed?

my short term disability claim is now pending so i'll know if i'll be paid the entire time. meanwhile my baby 7months has an ear infection with a questionable allergy to amoxicillin. bad because she loved it. broke out all over, but happened at the same time a viral rash would have. oh well but i've been off alot this week, i have so much energy, legs feel good and i feel like getting stuff done, reminds me how much pain stops me and that if im feeling good i still love being active, i havent just gotten lazy
