I had Rotator Cuff surgery in December of 2021 (8 months ago), the long bicep tendon had a full tear and the surgeon cleaned the stump on the lower end and let the upper stump alone. It now has become a problem (the upper stump) as it seems that it has traveled up between the acromion and the head, this causes intense pain that I can only imagine is like the feeling of dislocation. The surgeon also cleaned out the joint of bone spurs etc. Calling the surgeon to hear what he has to say.

Has anyone else had this happen and what was the solution?

Left Rotator Cuff 5/18
Right Rotator Cuff 12/20

That doesn't sound fun! I have a mild Popeye effect from my bicep becoming a "unicep" but I haven't heard of it rolling up like that. Please do check with your surgeon and let us know what happens. I had someone I knew that they tried to repair the bicep but it caused enough pain that they had to go back in and release it. After they did that, his pain resolved. Don't be discouraged if another procedure is needed.
