I have been in rehb. since Monday afternoon so I didnt get any rehb on that day so on Tue. when I got down stairs they said my knee was only bending 80 degrees how can you lose 10 degrees in 1 day? So in my little mind I said to myself thats not going to happen to me and boy o boy did I work my knee and ICE it yes I get ice here and I am living with my ice and loving it! On Wed. my bend was back up to 88 degrees
In OT I didnt have a problem with getting into or out of the shower, bed, chair so he told me that he would just keep my arms strong,also he said that I should be off the walker very soon. On Thur. Pt was great but OT worked with me very hard took me outside for a long (5 mintues) walk I was so tired after that, I get PT in the AM and PM but OT is only in the mornings On Thur. afternoon I started walking with the Cane that felt so great on Fri. my OT tooked me outside with the cane and PT said I was back up to 90 degrees!!! I am working as hard as I can, was tolded that I will be leaving with the cane told hubby not to take out the walker out of the shed, When I am upstairs in our room we all need to use the walkers and wheelchairs thats ok I did have a great roommate here but she ended back in the hospital because of a U.T.I. I do miss her because we had a great time in our room and as I am writing this I just got a new person, well I had 2 nights by myself, Ok I have lots of reading to do here, its great to talk to everyone!!!!
