Very excited but still a little worried about all the dislocation talk. Hard not to think about messing up. I cross my legs even when I'm sleeping! Well, I won't "go there" anymore. The huge blessing of a pain free hip awaits in my future.
I did had a fever of 100 yesterday. All clear today. Dr says I'm good to go and I don't feel sick. No cough or stuffed nose just a minor headache. I shouldn't had one last swim in the pool on Sat. Not smart.
So I'm waiting to clean with the lovely pack of wipes and up at 4a to the hospital. Surgery scheduled for 730a.
Thank you for this awesome site to learn and have support!

WVHipChick......good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I hope you can get some sleep tonight, it will be hard.
It must be very exciting knowing that
By this time tomorrow you will be on the road to recovery. My surgery isn't until March 7th so I have a big wait yet
I'm sure you will do great. We will be waiting to see you post in recovery

@WVHipChick - don't fret about dislocation. There are clear guidelines which you'll know all about before you leave hospital and your operated hip will be a reminder not to cross your legs as it will feel a bit stiff and swollen, but the good news is the hip pain will be gone finally. Glad you're feeling well. Make sure you set up your postOp thread in readiness for when you want to start tapping in (you can do it ahead of going into hospital - many do - and still keep posting on it). What a great day it will be to wake up and know you're finally there.
