Rash two days before Op

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone can help, I'm getting a hip arthroscopy to repair some torn cartilage in two days, and I've noticed I've got a rash on my tummy!!!

I've tried so hard to stay away from sick people, but I believe I may have caught this rash from a hot tub (or possibly trying a new body wash, or even stress related) It's not itchy, or sore and I feel 100% fine!

Will I still got operated on or will they say no?

@algee123 It really depends on how bad the rash is. New body wash or stress can certainly cause a rash. Have you tried going back to your old body wash and a good rinse? Call your surgeon's office tomorrow if you are worried.

@Jaycey it really isn't that bad just looks like little red pimples (no itchiness or soreness) as seen here and it is so far only present on my tummy from below my bra to above a normal waistband on jeans. And seems to be getting better with allergy relief tablets

I'm glad it's getting better. You should notify your surgeon's office, though. The photo makes it look pretty minor, so my guess is you'll be fine with surgery.
