Hello Jo,

I was just sitting here in pain once again and noticed my right but cheek is much smaller than my left. I am sitting on my sciatic nerve. Is it possible this prosthesis is positioned on the sciatic nerve? Can it be seen on a MRI? I see my OS and tomorrow. I will be sharing this information with him.

Thanks!

Happy Tuesday!

Ms Splenda my surgeon told me my right butt cheek was smaller and my leg was smaller than the left side. Weak muscles is the cause!!!

Wow Splenda that cant be comfortable please let us know what he says tomorrow and good luck to you !!!!!!!!

Awwwww!!! You need extra padding on your butt! I'm sure it's annoying for you! ((:0)

Well, the questions you guys come up with!

The prosthesis is buried so deep in muscle and anatomy, it's actually nowhere near the sciatic nerve. But if you have less soft tissue padding there, then it will be getting pressure from the bone and whatever you're sitting on! Get a nice cushion - one of Memory foam would be good, the thicker you can afford the better.
