Hi To Everyone....I have been coming along pretty good but yesterday at Physio she pushed my knee a little to much by starting me on the bike.........well last night my knee was so sore I had to take extra pain pills.
I guess this is normal but I felt like it was going to come apart....
Any good advise on how to handle these stressful times...??
Thanks Dovcar2000

You got pain, take the pills! And ask your PT not to be quite so hard on you next time!

Thanks Josephine..I felt she did push me too hard as I have managed to cut back to two Toradol Pain pills a day and one morphine at night time but not last night...
You know the saying ...no pain no gain well for me yesterday it did not work.........it was the opposite...
Love your site as it really is helpful for us people in no man's land...
Thanks again.. Carol

Or you can grab the threapist by the throat and tell them to never push that hard again...Very effective.

Thanks everyone ...I loved your replies...lol
Well at the next session she got me on the bike and I actually went all the way around...now this is excitement... She made me do two minutes of that.......oh gosh what fun...lol
She also measured my ROM and it was up to 95 from the week before of 87 so I can she is moving me in the right direction so I really should not complain about her and my hubby.
You see I have a very bad shoulder that they operated on in July and it did not work...so all the pulling on it just after the operation caused it to blow out. So now I am looking at a Shoulder Replacement in the future.
Now this is where the HUSBAND bit comes in............you see while I have my leg on the torture rack as I call it.....he pushes my leg back towards my bum to get the knee bending.
Now he loves this as he controls my pain......(he truly is male in this one)....I have called him some nasty names but between him and the physio lady it is working as I know I would not push myself that far.
Maybe this is a helpful suggestion for the newbies.....
Oh the joys of TRK replacement......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Hugs Carol
