THR Post surgery

I'm sorry to learn this. It's definitely scary not knowing, and sounds like you may need more of a work up.

I realize it's Friday evening (why is it always a Friday?!?!) and hope he appreciates how anxiety-producing it is and maybe doesn't wait til Monday to call you.

We'll be here... not much specific info I can offer but "moral support" and please know we're in your corner.

Hi there,
We haven't heard from you in awhile so I am assuming all is going well with your recovery.
The short answer to your question is, yes. Many have mentioned areas of indentation along their scar line. It can be from the way tissue heals, surgical technique or skin type. Depending upon how the patient follows post op care can be a contributor also. I wouldn't be concerned. Take a look at the Scar Thread below, you may find some indented there. Not sure, as I haven't looked lately.
Enjoy the rest of the Autumn season!

Please notice that we have merged your newest thread with your original recovery thread. Having your recovery information contained in one place will make it easier for you to reflect back on. Mine was a little "lumpy" for awhile but not a bubble.
But I know I've read that here from someone else & hopefully they see your post & can help.

Is anything visible on the surface? Is it open? Painful to the touch?

Can you share a photo or describe it a bit more?

@benne68 the bubble went away but i’m having a lot of pain in the hip now i messaged my surgeon just waiting on a response

Sorry to read the news that you're in pain.
Did you snap a photo of the raised area to forward to your surgeon? If so, it may be helpful for him.
Please let us know what you hear.
All the best!
