no---no TKR Survivor! We'd NEVER be able to vote each other off the island!

Our version would vote people ON the island.

Isn't that the truth we would spend all our time helping each other and crying when anyone left, I don't think they would think that makes very good tv.

Ahhhh.....you're right, Beach. Guess we'd have to figure out a new format for that reality show. I'm not sure the world would be ready for all of us together in some lux mansion either. It would be wild for sure! But.....at least we know the guys would pull their weight with the laundry and household chores!

Yeah, Skeet....it would be the opposite of Survivor and be an upbeat show instead of a dog-eat-dog format. What a nice change THAT would be .... seeing people support each other instead of trying to put something over on them. Oh what I'd give to start seeing some positive television like THAT these days. Probably not gonna happen.

Oh, I don't know.... I be okay with the lux mansion with a giant party hot tub rather than sleeping on the ground during a monsoon and eating raw mussels...... I don't think I am EVER gonna want to sleep on the ground again! New knee or not!

This is taking hours. I have been off line for a day and now I return to see this post loaded. Lovely you guys.

Ed, good looking guy! Where were you on your hike? It looks a lot like the Lake District in the UK where I still love to go and hike when we go over.

Beach, so good to see you mastered the photo posting. It was a long time coming. You are lovely, and have a good looker of a partner there too! You must really be looking forward to going back in May. Just think of all that swimming and laying in the sun mmmmmmmmmmmm sounds great to me. All that lovely sun on your knee and back.

Jo, I especially love the photo of your friends in their capes at Christmas. That really brought back warm memories of former Christmases. Did you always have mince pies and sherry after? We did. I must see if I can find the photo of me in uniform, later though in the 80's. Don't have any early ones. Still have my belt buckle and badges, but don't know what happened to my fob watch.

Linda, good to "meet" you too. What part of UK are you from, can't remember if you posted that or not anywhere? I was from Kent, before emigrating to Canada.

Jamie, you look as lovely as you sound, good to "meet" you too.

Have I missed one of Jenn? Didn't see one yet.

Maybe we should do full frontals now? No Doug and Gat, I mean of our new knees. Your monkey was covering your last one Doug. How is he by the way, not seen him lately.

Mince pies and coffee in the board room with the Matron, no less, Sue! And we got to chat with her like she was one of the girls!

I'll take that kind of complement wherever I can get it thanks!

Actually that was on Madiera (you can see one of the irrigation ditches along which there are hiking trails on the right)

NP, I posted on eof my son because that's what I have on this computer for now. Pix of me are on the computer upstairs and that for obvious reasons is a little more work. Will post ASAP. But isn't my boy beautiful?!

Thanks. We found a box of old pictures when I was home last time..Unfortunately, we lost many of our old heirlooms during Hurricane Andrew. This one has a water spot on it.
I thought the hat was a riot. This was an Easter picture taken when we lived in Naval Housing in Key West.. There is another with my mother in a had with white gloves on . Those formal days are long gone.

I couldn't even imagine living through a hurricane....did you lose your home -- did you evacuate or ride it out?? My heart ached for the Katrina victims and especially the helpless dogs who were separated.....Double props to you Doug.....you sure have had your crosses to bare......We lived through a tornado here in Western Pa. in 1985.....the devastion was horrendous but I'm sure living through Andrew and its aftermath is something you re-live each and every day ......God Bless.

I personally love the hair it looks like it was curly how cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now what you need to do is tell your son you can't wait to share those pictures with his first girlfriend and watch the many shades of red he will turn.

Doug great photo, how awful about hurricane Andrew. I hope everone was safe. You were good looking then too!!

Jenn, sorry I remember you saying that now in a former post. Yes your son is a real looker. Look forward to seeing you in good course.

Ed It loooked like the Lake District because of the stone walls. Looks lovely there in Madeira.

Jo Wow, you got to socialise with a Matron? Funny how Christmas makes people act so differently eh?

Wow Sue! That's right--- you are a picture restoration pro! Cool!

Amazing work, Sue!! Can you make me young and thin??
