Hey, Skeet!!! Glad to hear you are officially a "biker" now!!! I think you'll like having one!

My wife and son can walk past a window and get sunburned. I've been lucky in that I tan easily. Probably too easy.

I already do. It is going to help even more with ROM - maybe will get me to the 130 i want. And it's fun and aerobic, too

I got a slight burn just sitting in the car with the sunroof open taking a short snooze while my son was at the ortho - maybe 20 minutes and we're up north quite a bit.

My OS's office told me to put sun block spf 40 on the incision scar this summer because the line will tan will not fade with the rest of the leg and make the scar more obvious. Next year, what ever for block.

My son likes to get a slight tan. My wife has had to get several "hot spots" removed. She used to be quite the sun bunny when we lived in Miami. She would lay in the sun for hours. But then all of the girls did back then.
And us poor guys would lay there and just sweat just to talk to them...O the power of you women.

Hi guys.... Having trouble keeping up with you all! I've been working on my taxes (extension again, I am afraid). Then trying to catch with you.

I do the tanning bed thing for a "base tan" then to Mexico--- Scott tans with a 60w lightbulb, I swear. When we go to Mexico he gets mistaken for a native.

Wow, Jenn....GREAT advice that I hadn't thought of. Thanks!!!

Good to know! thanks Jen!

Cool. I'm going to let mine tan up and post the picture.

Thanks, Jenn. I didn't know that. Appreciate the info.

Any excuse to bare your knee and post it, huh, Doug. Shameless!!!

Hey Dougie, my best friend Lynn and I saw your young police photo last night at her house, I showed her the site I am addicted to, we both think you look/ed very handsome. she also saw the recent one. Kevin and I went up north to visit her and her hubby Dave for the weekend.

I missed you guys, didn't have much time to catch up this weekend, but had a great time. Went in their hot tub, even though it was snowing. It was lovely and relaxing, but my knee swelled up a lot after, so had to ice it. Could have just rolled in the snow, but I'm not Scandinavian!!!!! I am going to send a photo Lynn and I to Patti to post. We were standing on their deck which looks out over pond and bush. We saw a blue heron, two Canada geese and three deer today. It's beautiful there. We were thoroughly spoiled as usual and ate far too much!! Learnt a new board come card game called Sequence, any one know it? Was a lot of fun.

Jenn, your legs look amazing for the length of time post op. You are also amazing with your achievements so far.

Beach, your knee looks so different to the others because of the PKR. You don't seem to have any swelling either. Was that taken on a good day?

Anyway, I now have to look back at this and loads of other posts, I will be up half the night....Later..Sue

Hi sue, welcome back. I saw the header NURSEPAIR and said oh there she is. Glad you had fun.

Thanks Jenn, I have been having withdrawal symptons, from not being on the forum I mean. I think I will be off the Percs before the Forum :-)

Yep, Sue.....this forum and the wonderful people on it are truly addictive. I'm so glad to have found it!

Re: Tkr Gang-no Posting Please

Ooh! Nice piccy of a knee replacement in all its glory - quite warmed my heart!

Not so sure about the stockinette though - this was, I hope, an old picture as no-one in their right minds would still be using stockinette but a adhesive, plastic drape to prevent any and all contact between wound and skin. You got this from an archive, I trust, Patti?

BTW - gorgeous girl you have there!

Sue, I love your photo of you and Lynn. The countryside behind you looks so gorgeous.....almost good enough to make me want to come north where it is colder than here in Kansas City! Well, not quite...but it does look beautiful and I can see why you had such a relaxing time. Isn't it great to have friendships like that in your life??? You are blessed.
