I would have loved it if he had videoed my surgery. My other O.S. taped my previous eight.
Then again if they had taped the catheter part, I'd probably puke!!

THAT IS SO GROSS AND COOL AT THE SAME TIME! Certainly does explain alot of things like pain and stiffness. And lets us (me) cut ourselves a break.

I watched every surgery I could find on the internet before my surgery. I wanted to know "where" the pain would come from. BOY, did I find out.

I also made EVERY member of my huge family watch it so they'd feel even MORE pity for me.....made everyone at the office watch it, too.

I've always found the human body so fascinating . It can withstand an enormous amount of injury.

Whoa, Patti.....that photo of your knee innards is something else!!! Maybe we should warn folks that might have weak stomachs!!! Pretty cool that you have it, though. I don't know if I'm ready to watch an actual surgery yet (still have too much pain), but the still photo was neat. I'm going to send it to my daughter. She LOVES all that stuff and watches surgeries on Discovery Health all the time. Wish she would have been a surgeon instead of a pre-school director. MUCH better pay!!

What?!? Us get off topic?? Well, I never... hell's bells - that's some steep punishment. But I fully understand - NOW. For a while I was confused... kind of my natural state according to my kids.

Yeah, those kids think they get it! i was tired sore and whiny at the end of the day and was letting everyone know it. Nothing was right. My son says "Mommy needs one of her pills." Wise guy, but he was right.

Oh, Skeet.....in today's world you would just have to dye your hair and get a spray on tint to your skin, but then you wouldn't be YOU.

I do use Jergen's lotion that gives some color, but I'm so light that I can't do much or it looks weird. I've tried spray on tans... I like them but they just don't last long enough for me.

I tried darker hair when my daughter was younger, she has dark hair, but I look old. Blonde suits my personality I guess. God doesn't make junk!

That's what I meant, Skeet. I like being a blonde too. Whether it's true or not, I FEEL younger that way. I wouldn't change it.

I'm thinking about taking one... been a long weekend and the cleaning on Fri/Sat really did me in.

Oh, we got a stationary bike today. I tried riding it and the seat was down too low, so the first couple go arounds were "interesting" but then it was fun. this is really going to help me a LOT! Thanks to all that recommended it.
