I had the most wonderful experience yesterday that I want to share with you all.
I had been to the airport with a family friend to drop my mum and dad off, for a brief holiday. On the way home we stopped at a shopping centre to have some lunch. All day I walked around, stood etc no problems at all, (4 months PO, TKR) on the way out of the centre we were walking down a very long ramp. There was a man struggling, clutching onto the hand rail being dragged by the trolley. I recognised immediately by the way he was trying to walk and control the trolley full of groceries that he had knee problems, I walked past him, and held the front of the trolley back so it wasn't pulling on him.
When we got to the bottom, he said "I have really bad knees" and told me over and over how grateful he was that I had helped, but it was really me that had the blessing being able to help him.
