Hi Everyone,

I was seen my by chiropractor on yesterday. She spoke to my PCP who told her she had referred me to the doctors that could help me. She really didn’t have too much else to offer. I was disappointed, however, the PCP I had been seeing for 18 years didn’t like the fact I was obtaining help from other doctors and said this was 60/40 more mental pain than physical pain. No true! My current PCP referred me to good doctors and orders test for me so she is a keeper. I will see her on Saturday.
My Chiropractor was unable to speak with the PT and the OS before my appointment yesterday but she said she will continue to call. I told her to watch me walk; she said it appears that something is not right in the hip and unable to move like I should which cause the muscles to tightened up putting pressure on the sciatic nerve increasing the pain in the hip, thigh, calf and foot. She asked me if I was willing to take a chance with the “Pain Master MCT?” She explained to me how it would work. I told her yes! I am wearing the pain master MCT today with no pain. I have not used the cane today. Below is a description of how the “Pain Master MCT perform.”

What is MCT?

The Healing Science of Micro Current Therapy (MCT)
Picking Up Where the Body's Own Electrical Current Fails

Micro Current Therapy, commonly referred to as MENs (Micro current Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation), begins with small, pulsating currents of electricity. These currents are finely tuned to the level of the normal electrical exchanges which take place at the body's cellular level. Being more biologically compatible, these currents can penetrate the cell as opposed to passing over it as other stimulation devices do.
• Current is below perceptible levels and cannot be felt
• Helps injured cells to normalize activity, reducing inflammation
• Stimulates natural healing processes, including production of ATP, protein synthesis, oxygenation, ion exchange and absorption of nutrients
The Painmaster MCT patch harnesses the healing power of electrical currents, making it convenient for everyday use in treating a wide range of injuries and painful conditions.

Sounds similar to the device used to stimulate bone growth in delayed union fractures.
