Ortho in the San Jose Ca area

I need to see a DR for hip replacement. been putting it off for years and now my other hip is getting bad. I can tell its time. I have found a few in my area from the internet etc. But I was hoping to get a recommendation from someone who actually has had the surgery. So many doctors, it gets confusing. Plus, I live alone with no immediate family in the area so I need to stay as local as I can.
