So here I am today wandering round the supermarket looking at all the Christmas goodies on display and it suddenly struck me that this time last year I was getting out of hospital after my op.
When I look back at the last year and and how far I have come, I am really pleased I had my op done. Last year I couldn't have walked for more than 10 minutes without having to stop. If I sat in the car for more than 20 minutes I couldn't get back out again. I stopped socialising because of the pain I was in.
Looking at me today - all I can say is I have my life back, there is no stopping me now.
