:wow: Was I ever stiff this morning! I had PT at the hospital at 8:00 and when I woke up this morning I couldn't figure out what was going on. I fell asleep on my side and woke up on my stomach. My knees were so stiff. But good ole' Joseph worked them out for me. He told me sleeping on my stomach was not a good thing at this moment. I can lay on my stomach for 10 -15 minutes a couple times a day but don't SLEEP on your stomach. I know that now...Wow! PT went great after we worked the kinks out. I was on the stair stepper. Love that machine! I want one at home! I went 1/2 mile! I didn't think that was very far but Joseph said that was fantastic. Also got on the stationary bike and worked the knees!

I want everybody to have a beautiful day!!!:flwr:

Fabulous report, Cindy!!! Wow...the STEPPER??? You ARE doing well!! And you're right...no belly sleeping for a bit. I had to use a variety of pillows behind my back at night to get comfortable because I like to sleep on my tummy also....that was the toughest part of my recovery.

I can not get to sleep unless on my belly:shk:.

Omg, gonna have to drink loads of beer to help, Lol.

Cindy, you are doing great, WTG.:thmb:

NO NO NO, Dawnie! No beer. You'll wreck you diet!

Saw Shaun this morning and gave him your love! (j/k!)

Haha low cal beer.....Right Jo no beer !!!!!:)Happy for ya Cindy i did to twist rigt on to my back !!!!!!!!!........:)OOOpS! Sounds like you have a great PT though thats great ......

Dawnie,
I was that way but trust me, after your surgery you'll learn to sleep on your back and then your side. Just use pillows however you can and you can sleep. You'll be so tired after your surgery, you won't have a bit of problem sleeping....and no beer for you!!!!

I was/am a side sleeper and trust me, you take whatever sleep you can get. Took a while to get comfortable, but you will manage fine. Before you know it, you will naturally go to your normal sleep position without pain and stiffness. My best to you as you adjust.

Blessings,

Cindy, Cindy,
What am I going to do with you??? NO sleeping on the tummy!! NO, NO, NO.
But that ok if you were a sleep and did not know you moved. But how could you not know with 2 new knees????? But your recovery is really doing well!!!!!

Thanks all, and Thank you Jo. Hope he was fit and well, dont want him going on the sick near my surgery date, LOL. Did he know who I was?
I am so sorry to hear of your tear, I am not really sure what that will entail for you, but I really hope it's the best possible outcome for you.
OOhhh, 6.5 weeks to go:shk:

Take care.

I guess I must have been really tired to have rolled over and not have known it.

Well.....if you land on your tummy.....just think of Frankenstein reaching up and grabbing you through the throat!!! You guys have to HEAL!!! Use those pillows! Remember....this is a process!!! Grab whatever sleep you can get.....when you're healed you can return to your fave position!!! (:)0)
