O.K.
Let's see a recipe for goulash..My mom used to cook it when I was a kid..I haven't had it in 40 years.

Are you digging through your files or writing down and making notes from our posts. I've copied downthat pork butt recipe you gave a while back.
The goulash thing is pretty easy, basically a variation of pasta and a meat sauce.

I like my pizza with a thick crust and lots of sauce---pepperoni, suasage, mushroom, onion, and double cheese. For dinner tonight we had lasange and garlic bead with cheese...my wife ate first , as I had to wait until my ball game was done.

A few Miller lights and it was awonderful meal!

OK Jim, I'll do anchovies but y'all lost me on the nature walk picnic. I thought we were talking food, not the zoo. ByTheWay, What does ground hog taste like? Poor Puxatawney pete.

I'm sure if we had them around here, they'd have their chicken tastin' butts in a pot with onions and potatoes.

Now, the strangest food ever eaten!!!

Mullet Roe.

Mullet Roe.

Ok, Roe is fish eggs. what is mullet roe?
And from what I hear on the news there is plenty of gator in those FLA kitchens too. Where's kitty?

dunno what mullet roe tastes like LOL dunno what it is actually LOL but ground hog kinda like roast beef .... its real good ok anyone ate frog legs or turtle or craw dads or gator mmmmmm i love gator ..... :O) JIM

Roast beef!?!?!?!?! Are you serious? I'll take your word for it cause I'm not trying it. Neagtive on all the othres. I did have escargot once. It was OK. Garlicy, cause they put garlic on it! don't thing I go out of my way to have it again. Just a mental block. I had a bite of venison meatloaf once didn't know til it was in my mouth and the cook said " how do you like Chuck the buck?" Napkin please. Again a mental block.

Mullet is a fish...In S. Fla. it is primarily considered a bait fish.
In North Fla., we don't think there is anything better than fried mullet, cheese grits and coleslaw.
I was asked to go with some old time police officers and gill net some mullet. We cleaned them and fried them right on the beach. A little Jack Daniels may have been involved.
Apparently it was roe season and the person doing the cleaning saved the roe from a number of fish.
We fried everything up and started eating..One of the old timers asked me If I had ever eaten roe. Nope I hadn't. He went and got some and gave it to me. I couldn't refuse it. To do so would have been unmanly.
I ate it and acted like it was great. He gave me some more. I ate it.
Fried mullet roe has the same impact on the digestive track as drinking motor oil and Exlax..
That evening, it hit me and you have no warning. No cramping....nothing.. I had to change clothes and take a shower.
The next night when I walked into briefing, I was met with some BIG smiles and asked if everything came out all right.....I had passed the test.
