Well, not exactly poison, Patti. That's how it kills the rats, by making their little bodies bleed to death. Not nice! Only they have such a tiny blood volume it doesn't take long.

Must be fun, I am 9 days Post RTKR and ready for my left....Well OS doesn't think I will be ready for a couple of months. As for my spinal, had the injection at top of my right leg, do not remember when they did that, I was extremely comfortable going in, after prep I really only remember the Anasthesiologist trying to hit the "bullseye", I remember seeing lots of Dr's, I heard the hammering for a split second and remember opening my eyes and asking "is that me?" then hearing my name but then I was right back out. I heard I took the spinal very well. The routine procedure was to place a spinal patient into ICU for the first night ( for monitoring) but Anas. said I was breathing so well on my own I went straight to my own room. Keep in mind if anybody is at risk it would be I, being I am a big guy. But it went great. I am even going to recommend my Anas. to myself for my LTKR : )
