Thanks Barbaraj. I have never had carpal tunnel surgery and they will do tests tomorrow to see if it is that and how advanced(know it is advanced--the only kind of thing I have) and this ECTR endoscopic carpal tunnel release lasts 5 minutes each hand-incision is 1 mm. no stitches and supposedly painless--we'll see. Apparently you can use your hand immediately and fully recovered in 10 days. It is a herculean step over the open tunnel release surgery with 6 weeks to 2 months recovery, scarring, bruising etc. I always endured the carpal tunnel thing-gave up sewing, driving was a pain etc. but could still function. I can't now but what is worse is the pain kinda non-stop. I am skittish because of my body's penchant for not processing drugs like others. But at this time I have no choice.
