Nin's question: Stitch wound still opening

Josephine I do have a question I have had to have some steri strips put back onto my sacr top third,as it has pulled apart,and its proving difficult to get it to heal,as my knee bends so well now it is breaking the scar back open,any ideas would be much sought after

Depends how long since they put the Steristrips on. There comes a point when Steristrips just won't work anymore and the wound - if not too large or deep - has to be allowed to heal up from the bottom in its own. There are two things you might do

- just keep the wound covered for a while with a dry, sterile dressing and let nature take its course and/or
- see your GP and see what he/she has to suggest.
