I suppose anything is possible, but I'd say it is VERY unlikely. At any rate, you will know for sure once you have the alergy tests performed. You are wise to do this if for no other reason than to ease your mind that an allergic reaction is not what you are experiencing.

This week I went through allergy testing with metal samples sent by the manufacturer of the knee prosthesis my doctor wants to use. The final reading was today and I had no reaction to any of the metals involved. I was previously been tested for the cement and tested negative for that also.

With this hurdle cleared, I called my OS and my surgery is tentatively scheduled for the day after school gets out in June.

Thank you for your support - I know I will continue to need it as the surgery date approaches, and beyond.
